Is dr. klyde accepting new patients?

Yes. The office of Dr. Klyde is accepting new patients at this time both direct search and doctor referral. Contact the office to schedule your appointment.

Does Dr. Klyde accept my insurance?

No, not directly. In order to provide optimal doctor to patient care, Dr. Klyde has elected to not accept insurance directly. The office staff will assist you with the necessary forms to obtain reimbursement from your existing policy. Read more about the office insurance policy here >>> INSURANCE

When will I get my lab test/X-ray results?

The in-office laboratory processes tests in the order received. Electrocardiogram, Bone Density, and Chest X-rays are done immediately and will be reviewed during the visit. Will my insurance cover the services?

Each insurance plan is very different; therefore, we recommend that you contact your insurance plan to determine if the anticipated services are a benefit of your individual plan. We are only able to provide quotes for the office visit portion of your visit. If the services are not covered, we can work with you to develop a payment plan.

How can I get a copy of my test results and medical records?

To receive a copy of your test results and medical records, please call the office. You will need to sign a consent form to release this information if your records are being sent to another office or hospital.

What if I need paperwork filled out by my Physician?

Forms can be dropped off at the front desk, submitted by email, or faxed to the office. Depending on the type of form, it may take up to 5 days to be completed. Some paperwork might require an appointment with your physician for completion.

What forms of payments do you accept?

For your convenience, our practices accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). We will charge your credit card only for the amount you authorize. Payment plans also may be arranged through our onsite billing coordinator.

Will I always see Dr. Klyde?

Yes. As a single physician office, and all in office appointments will. After hours emergencies will be tended to by Dr. Klyde or a member of his hand selected coverage group.

What can i expect on my first visit?

Our staff will ask you to fill out registration and health history forms. We ask that new patients arrive 15 minutes before scheduled appointment time to complete your paperwork.

The patient intake visit generally takes an hour and is mostly one-on-one time with Dr. Klyde. Each visit is specific to the patient, so there is no set duration, take the time you need to evaluate the situation and your care options.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

You should bring copies of all pertinent laboratory and imaging results. This information helps Dr. Klyde to understand your medical history quickly, make a diagnosis, and suggest treatment options.

How early should I arrive to my appointment?

When you schedule your visit, our appointment coordinators will tell you when you should arrive and how you can prepare. In general, please plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

What is the “no-show” policy?

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call the office as soon as possible. If you miss your appointment and do not call to cancel, additional fees may apply.

Why the staggered start times during the weekdays?

Dr. Klyde schedules time every other day to make morning rounds in New York Hospital, visiting his patients that may be in for procedures or surgery. Face-to-face follow up with the patients and the providers working with them are critical to getting the highest quality care.
